It is in his work at Emmett Global that Kenneth, along with his partner Lionel Wolberger, built an organization and set of solutions that truly embody Privacy by Design and the principles of the Respect Trust Framework, where Emmett is a founding partner.
Emmett, the Hebrew word for "truth," seeks sensible, simple solutions to today's complex personal data problems. With privacy baked in from the start, Emmett's products such as the Web Pal and Personal Cloud Provisioning, define a middle path between personal sovereignity preservation and social sharing of data for the collective good. Emmett's compelling vision of personal data with CANDOR - an acronym for Consent, Attribution, Notification, Dignity and Ongoing Remuneration - along with its unique focus on Not For Profit groups such as Customer Commons, enables people and organizations to move forward towards more private, dignified solutions that celebrate our humanity while valuing our varying perspectives on private and social life.
Kenneth was previously founder and president of The Gottfried's Group, a New York based logistics and distribution company consisting of two divisions: Gottfried's NYC, a full service messenger and trucking company serving the NYC tristate area, and Gottfried's Magazines, a full service newspaper and magazine subscription service. His earlier successful ventures vary from catering services to automobile dealerships. Kenneth studied at Baruch College of the City University of New York. He is a leader who builds profitable services delivered in a sustainable, human, high integrity way by people that care.
